My wife and I booked this hotel as we were evacuating from Hurricane Irma with our four-month-old and a dog. To say this is a nice hotel would be an understatement. I was absolutely blown away by the hospitality here. Not only was it clean, well-furnished, and conveniently-located hotel, the staff was incredibly helpful and understanding. The outpouring of support from the staff and the community was unbelievable. We had everything we needed and a stressful situation was made entirely less stressful because of how at home we were made to feel. Special shout-outs to Brandon and Audrey for being the shining stars of this hotel. They are the best in what they do to take care of their guests. We'll be back to stay here just to visit the area again. It was THAT amazing. Thank you all so very much!!!
This particular hotel is truly a hidden gem. My fiance and I stopped into this hotel tonight on our way back from Memphis, Tennessee during which we both stayed at the historic Peabody Hotel. I was just as pleased with this Holiday Inn as I was with the Peabody hotel. The delightful woman managing the front desk was both gracious and attentive to us and made the visit memorable. The interior of this hotel is so modern, elegantly appointed and serene inside. My inner OCD goddess twirled with delight inside me upon seeing how meticulously thorough this property is maintained. There are rows of beautiful hydrangea flowers planted outside of the well lit walkways which set the tone for the HUGE dose of Southern hospitality awaiting you inside. I also appreciated how quiet and polite the other hotel goers here were while we were there. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here during another road trip. # Best hotel ever!
Nice hotel with a beautiful view. Food was pretty good. They did lose our reservations but they found us a different room so no real big deal.
We stayed here during evacuation from hurricane Irma. True Southern hospitality here: families who'd been here for the duration reported not paying for meals and local churches bringing potluck meals to the banquet room. We were not given the pet fee. Clean! Mountain views, and the most comfortable beds, towels, sheets and pillows ever! So clean and fresh. Wish we just came here. Will do next time.
We were in a bad car accident on the highway in front of this hotel at 10:30 at night on our way home to Oklahoma. A semi crossed over the highway and into oncoming traffic and landed on the guardrail of the overpass, taking out our car in the process. This whole ordeal ended up totaling our car and we were left stranded. The employees here welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like family. They loved on our kids, went out of their way to care for us, and took so much stress out of the situation. We are SOOOO thankful for the wonderful people here! This will be our go-to hotel when we are passing through! You will not find more incredible people anywhere! I'm writing letters to corporate to share my story and brag on this location. My best experience at a hotel to date!
